Splitting the image from sound
Dissecting with care,
Reassembling, recreating,
What emerges may seem more true
Than the original ever was.

On stage, a play of dual resets,
What of the bond between sound and body?
Do they harmonise, or do they clash?
Is there a third possibility waiting to be found?

Carmen Yu continues her experiments with sound and dance,
For what we hear may be but shadows,
And what we see may not hold truth.
What is reality?
It is yours to uncover with your own hands.
