Jasmine Lam is a dancer, choreographer and model from Hong Kong . She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Warwick and a Postgraduate Diploma in Dance from Trinity Laban in London. Trained in ballet, chinese dance, contemporary dance, jazz and latin dance, her movement style draws from the blend of eastern and western aesthetics. Known for her emotional and storytelling approach to movement, she believes dance is an authentic extension of an artist's story and emotional truth. Throughout her career, her talent has earned her accolades and scholarships from international competitions and art festivals worldwide.
As a dancer, Jasmine has performed and collaborated with companies such as the Tang Shu-Wing Theatre Studio, Hong Kong Dance Company, Hong Kong Ballet, and the imPerfect Dancers Company. Her recent performances include Bhagavad Gita, King Lear, Hamlet, Butterfly Lovers and the Chinese Culture Festival. She recently starred as the lead dancer in Winky Wong's The Lilliputians music video, and was featured in dance films and videos for artists Rainbow Chan and Constance Chan.
As a choreographer, Jasmine choreographed and directed an original dance production i'm just a girl, as well as Butterfly Lovers and City of Lights - Spirits of the Past for the Chinese Culture Festival. Her work extends into the fashion space, working with brands such as CHANEL, Patek Philippe, Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier, On, Chaumet, and SONY.
Jasmine continues to forge her path, creating works and collaborations that aspire to examine contemporary themes and questions.
