Jasmine is a dancer, choreographer, model and movement director from Hong Kong. Currently based in both Hong Kong & London, she is passionate about bridging dance with other art forms such as fashion, contemporary art, film and music etc. Known for her emotional and storytelling approach to movement, she believes dance is an authentic extension of an artist's story and emotional truth.
Trained in ballet, chinese dance, contemporary, jazz and latin dance, her works incorporate a wide range of movement styles. Jasmine holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Warwick and a Graduate Diploma in Dance from the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London. Throughout her career, her talent has earned her numerous awards and scholarships from international competitions and art festivals worldwide.
Her recent performances include Bhagavad Gita, King Lear and Hamlet (choreographed by imPerfect Dancers Company) by Tang Shu-Wing Theatre Studio; Love Streams with the Hong Kong Dance Company for the Hong Kong Arts Festival, and Walking on Air with the Hong Kong Ballet x HKU Guild. She has been featured in event performances for CHANEL, Cartier, Tatler Hong Kong, M+ Musuem and the Hong Kong Design Institute etc.
Jasmine continues to forge her path, creating works and collaborations that aspire to examine contemporary themes and questions. Taking inspiration from societal changes and the complexities of life, her choreographic works have garnered recognition and accolades from local competitions and productions.
